A Guide to Doge: Much article. Very journalist. Wow.
Alec Pearce explains where the most popular meme of 2014 has come from and why we just can’t get enough. As an avid internet user and devoted disciple of the almighty Doge, I was of course extremely happy to be able to write an article about him. I suppose for those of you who are reading this and don’t have a clue what I’m referring to, the question is: what in the name of everything that is holy is Doge? A quick Google search will tell you that on February 23rd, 2010, Japanese kindergarten teacher Atsuko Sato posted several…
Kent Men’s 1s Beaten In Varsity Finale
With UKC men’s 1s winning hardly any games this season, it’s fair to say the crowd weren’t exactly filled with hope for a great finish to a great varsity week. The women’s 1s had played excellently, but the crowd seemed a little defeated before the men even took to the pitch. When the teams did come out however, the UKC boys seemed determined to prove everyone wrong and immediately started on the attack. Throughout the match Kent attacked well but the CCCU side provided an almost impenetrable defence and were definitely the better team in the first half, finishing…

The seat that could make or break a career. The seat that will have you pictured in every fashion magazine. The seat that has you sitting a mere breath away from the new seasons collections – swoon. Just these sheer thoughts alone are why going FROW is reserved for…
Women’s 1s Win Varsity Rugby
Kent’s Women’s 1s pulled off a fantastic result on the final day of Varsity competition by beating their rivals Canterbury Christchurch 11-7 at Canterbury Rugby Club, avenging the defeat they suffered last year. It was a very chilly evening at the pitch, but temperatures soon thawed thanks to the fiery tackles from both sides in the early stages of the fixture. Kent made the brighter start of the two sides, and kept the ball well in the early stages, earning themselves a penalty kick just moments in which was duly converted to take a 3-0 lead. Roared on by…
